PLANT CAPACITY
The plant’s capacity is 126800 MTPY
P205, based on the following parameters:
■Economical considerations
■ Future plans for Phosphate rock production in Iran
PLANT’S REQUIRED RESOURCES
In its full capacity, the plant needs:
■ 425,000 MTPY phosphate rock.
■ 340,000 MPTY sulfuric acid.
■ Anti foam and grain modifiers in small quantities.
■ Utilities, mainly 300,000 MTPY steam, 700,000 MTPY process water, 23,000,000 MTPY seawater and
20.0.000 kwh electricity.
LICENSE, DESIGNER AND EQUIPMENT SELECTION
The Wet Process is the most common production method of Phosphoric Acid with concentrations of 52-54% P205 that is used to produce complementary animal feed and fertilizers.
“Prayon, DH, MK, LLFC” technology was chosen among different Wet Process technologies, based on the following criteria
■ Maximum extraction of P205.
■ Design adaptability for using different Phosphate rocks.
■ Minimum required investment.
■ Minimum consumption of steam.
■ Minimum Pollution of the environment.
Considering the background and experience of different designers and suppliers “SNC LAVALIN EUROPE” was selected as the main contractor to supply License, Basic Engineering and main equipment for the following reasons:
■ Long term and vast experience in this field.
■Licensed in Prayon Technology.
■ Guarantied Conformity of the product with the international standards.
